Vitamin A, E, Beta Carotene, Lutein, Lycopene Profile

See each individual test discussion for more information. This is also known as the lipid soluble antioxidant profile. All tests are performed on serum. The specimen must be protected from light.

Vitamin A absorbance is read at 325 nm; vitamin E is read at 294 nm; B-carotene is read at 450 nm; lycopene is read at 446 nm; and lutein is read at 454 nm.

Expected values are :

Vitamin A24 - 90µg/dL
